غزہ کی وزارت صحت نے جنگ میں ہلاکتوں کے تازہ ترین اعدادوشمار جاری کیے ہیں جس کے مطابق غزہ میں ہلاکتوں کی تعداد پندرہ ہزار سے زائد ہو گئی ہے۔ اسے اب تک کی سب سے بھاری بمباری قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ دوسری جانب امریکا نے کہا ہے کہ وہ دنیا میں اپنے سب سے قریبی دوست کے ساتھ کھڑا رہے گا تاہم "اسرائیل کی اخلاقی ذمہ داری ہے کہ وہ شہریوں کی جانوں کا تحفظ کرے"۔
