نگران حکومت اگلے ہفتے نومبر 2023 کے دوسرے پندرہ دن کے لیے پیٹرول کی قیمتوں کا جائزہ لے گی، رپورٹس میں اگلے دو ہفتوں تک قیمتوں میں متوقع کمی کا اشارہ دیا گیا ہے۔ عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی قیمتیں تقریباً 3 فیصد گر کر گزشتہ 100 دنوں کی کم ترین سطح پر آگئیں۔ تازہ ترین اعداد و شمار سے پتہ چلتا ہے کہ برینٹ کروڈ 2.07 ڈالر گر کر 79.54 ڈالر فی بیرل پر طے ہوا۔ امریکی خام تیل میں 2 ڈالر سے زیادہ کی کمی ہوئی اور 75.33 ڈالر پر منڈلا گیا۔ ٹاپ بینچ مارک جولائی کے بعد اپنی کم ترین سطح پر پہنچ گئے۔ گرتی ہوئی خوردہ فروخت صارفین کی کم مانگ اور کساد بازاری کے امکان کو ظاہر کرتی ہے۔ قیمتوں میں کمی اور مقامی کرنسی کی قدر میں اضافے کے درمیان، پاکستانی نگران حکومت پیٹرول اور ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں تبدیلی کرے گی۔ غیر تصدیق شدہ رپورٹس میں دعویٰ کیا گیا ہے کہ پاکستان میں پیٹرول کی قیمتوں میں 10 روپے فی لیٹر تک کمی ہوگی اور دیگر پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں پر بھی نظر ثانی کی جائے گی۔

Unverified reports claimed that petrol prices in Pakistan will drop by up to Rs10 per litre and price of other petroleum products will also be revised.
