Punjab Govt banned five  syrups in response of World health organization alert.

These five syrups were found high alchol level.

These syrups are

1 Mucorid

2 Ulcofin

3 Alergo

4 Emidone suspension

5 zincell

The alarming discovery was made following a WHO investigation prompted by complaints from the Maldives, as these syrups had also been exported to other countries in the region
